27 September 2018

In addition to our own Mental Health Awareness and Managing Mental Health Workshop, we (Mental Health In The Workplace Ltd) are accredited by MHFA England, to deliver their Mental Health First Aid Training course.

This two day course combines presentations and current statistical content with group activities and discussions, all built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan and both qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider and equips you with the following:

An in depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect mental wellbeing
- Knowledge to enable you to identify the triggers and spot the signs of mental health issues
- Increased self-awareness and insight into your own mental health status and challenges
- Enhanced interpersonal skills such as active and non-judgemental listening
- The confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
- The resources to guide someone to further support

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the mental health equivalent of physical first aid.

MHFA training provides participants with the skills and confidence to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support
